Sonoma Results

It was basically Ambrose with a little Busch vs. Montoya with a little Stewart... and Ambrose and Busch prevailed, while Montoya and Stewart are our BSOTWs.  Montoya ran out of gas while in 2nd (I think) and Stewart had trouble late after running in the top 10 pretty much for the last half of the race.  That sucked for some of you I'm sure ...

I'll keep this short as I am off to New Jersey tonight to get my marriage license... hanging out in NYC till the 5th, then the big day is on Sunday the 7th.  Her birthday is the 3rd and mine on the 6th, so I will try not to forget to submit my pick this week and next.... well, maybe I will do a default pick just in case... Hamlin is my default pick for Kentucky and Stewart for Daytona.

I'll try to update ASAP, but no promises.

Michigan Results: Skidmarks Back in the Lead! Holy Chonk!

The competition is heating up as we near the halfway point of the season.  Skidmarks chose race winner Greg Biffle to move into the lead by an insurmountable 8 points (he wishes I'm sure).  The same three teams stay in the money spots.  A few other teams changed spots, no one rising or dropping more than 2 spots... with the exception of Chonk with a nice 4 spot jump into the top 10 with the unusually early pick of Stewart who finished 5th.  Well done fellas!

6th Place Kenseth - Graziano

7th Place Bowyer - Rusty

I didn't watch the race as I was golfing and they changed the coverage to TNT, and my future bride didn't bother to make sure the race was recording while I was out drinking, gambling, and golfing... maybe she'll be more sensitive to my needs after the wedding.

But I can tell you it sucked... for me anyway.  BSOTW goes to Menard and Penguin with a very nice top 30.  Shit...  It actually wasn't that bad of a week as I won Rusty Truck's Sweet 14 baseball league.  Take a look at this: http://goodmanthoughts.blogspot.com/  Simple Game... 

But for the rest of you A-holes it was a pretty nice week... in this league.   Especially Rasta who moved into first place completing his nice run to the top with the race winner Johnson pick.  Kiss and Asleep also took Johnson.  Chonk took Jr. who finished 3rd and Eat (Who moves back into the third place money spot), High, Piston had Stewart who finished 4th.     

Kurt Busch (Empty), Hamlin (Shepard and Skid), Harvick (Ideal), and Logano (Graz) had top 10 finishes as well.

Rowdy, Rusty and Beef... it could have been worse.  Trust me.

Dover Debacle

Skidmarks takes the lead!  No surprise really, as Team Skidmarks has been at or near the top all season long.  Graziano drops to second, and Rasta has Charged up into the last money spot... continuing a nice charge towards the top from as low as 12th place.

The top three picks were: Dust with Logano (7th), Beef, Kiss, Rasta and Skid with Kurt Busch (12th), and  Edwards (14th) from a careful, calculated and scientific pick by Chonk.

Empty picked Johnson (17th) and Asleep picked Kahne (23rd) barely beat BSOTW status, but given all of the rough picks this week, they should be feeling pretty at this point.   

Rusty Truck continues to go Indy Card (Inside Joke) down the leaderboard...  Okay, real quick... Credit Card Roulette... where everyone puts a card in for the lunch, dinner, or bar tab... last card in the waiter's or waitress's hand has to pay... we play elimination style.. Rusty and I were working down in South Florida (that's a whole other story for another time), and we played Roulette for just about every meal... one of our friends, Kit, had this credit card with Indianapolis Motor Speedway or Indianapolis Colts or something Indianapolis related (he's from Indiana)... and his card was picked about 10 of every 15 times he played it... it was unbelievable and very awesome... Truck has the exact stats I'm sure, but hopefully now you will know what I mean when I say someone is going Indy Card.
