Chase Race #1 - Keselowski Locks Shepard into the next round... In Theory

Congratulations to Shepard on his Keselowski pick and win to start our battle for this year's Championship!  With 2 races to go in this round and a win automatically qualifies you for the next round*, this is a great start.  Shepard also jumps up 3 spots into 4th.  Well done Shepard!!!!

*If more than 4 other teams get a win(s), then we'll have to go to the tiebreaker scenarios.

What this means to the rest of you is that there are only 4 spots left for qualifying on points.  If more teams get wins over the next two races, these qualifying spots will be reduced accordingly.  Enough about that...

Ideal moves into the top spot with his 2nd place Gordon pick.  Graz grabs 2nd with the Gordon pick.

Piston stumbled a little out of the gates, but still had a top 10 with the Kenseth pick and holds onto the 3rd spot.

Chonk fell to 4th with the Johnson pick, Skidmarks (Harvick) stays in 6th and Kiss (Johnson) falls to 7th.  I said Kiss Johnson... huh huh uh huh...

None of the wild card teams were able to crack the top 7 and the two top picks were Beef and Dust with 5th place Harvick.  Those bonus points are looking huge right about now.

We still have 2 races left, so don't let up!

Sorry about the late post... will try to update sooner next week.

New Hampshire on Sunday... Good luck to all!!!

Cheers!
