Lots of movement this week in Vegas... Skid remains in the top spot but did not get that coveted 3rd win in a row. His shot at the Chase is still looking very strong. He was the only team to pick 5th place finisher Carl Edwards.
4 Teams chose race winner Keselowski, adding Chonk, Beef, and Rowdy into the 2 wins column. Asleep gets his first win. Nice job guys and girl!
High Speed and Ideal chose 4th place finisher Logano. Graziano and Rusty chose 6th place Johnson. These two drivers looked like they could have won this race early on and then just faded (not far), but had nothing for Keselowski. The unpicked Dale Jr. seemed like he could win this race, but fell short on gas.
Shepard had a nice Kahne (8th) pick and Kiss and Empty chose Kyle Busch (11th). Kyle made a few strategic moves and looked strong for a while, but fell back in traffic and couldn't contend at the end of the race.
Rasta chose 15th place McMurray and our last year's Champ is still at the back of the pack.
But the BSOTW goes to the Bowyer suckers... Dust, Piston, A-Game, and Penguin. The Bowyer pick looked teed up with him starting 3rd, but handling issues and a flat tire made him a non-factor.
Good times, but it is still early. Who I would blow to have my 2nd win in the bag... oops that was out loud.
3 more teams join Skidmarks at 2 wins... will they ease up or will they keep the pedal to the metal until they are locked in?
If the Chase started today and 2 wins was the Wild Card criteria, Rowdy would be the only Wild Card team to make it in and she sits in 11th place. Pretty cool I think.
Good luck next week in Bristol!
Cheers!
